| Dosage | Prevention of venous thromboembolism: 2.5mg SC OD for 5-9 days. The first dose is given 6 hours after closure and when haemostasis has been established and it may be continued for up to 31 days. Treatment of venous thromboembolism: <50kg, 5mg OD; 50-100kg, 7.5mg OD; > 100kg, 10mg OD. |
